“I tell human stories that mix music, comedy, and the utter mess of being alive.” - Aaron Blitzstein
(NOTE: I have never spoken these words in my entire life until writing them just now.)
My career began working alongside the artists who shaped modern music and culture. At 4AD, F.B.I., the William Morris Agency, and Gold Mountain Entertainment, I worked with artists including Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, The Smiths, R.E.M., The Breeders, and Jeff Buckley. Combining his passion and relentless pursuit of something honest, he became the foundation of his own creative voice.
I carried that sensibility into television writing for Family Guy, The Late Show with David Letterman, and Eastbound & Down; earning multiple Emmy nominations. In that time I also developed with Seth Rogen, Sacha Baron Cohen, The Lonely Island, Eddie Izzard, and the late, legendary Norman Lear for HBO.
After years leading Creative at Edelman for brands including Starbucks, GenDigital, and Linkedin, I am excited to return to the work that has always mattered most: filmmaking rooted in music, memory, and emotional truth.
